No data cable. No power cable. No electrical constraints. Just a <strong>clamp, a meter, and direct communication with the V2C charger using long-range LoRa technology<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this way, it is now possible to perform dynamic power control 100% wirelessly. <strong>Everything is much simpler, faster, and more cost-effective for the installer.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What makes it different?<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are wireless solutions on the market. But they all have one thing in common: they require external power supply. They are wireless in communication, but not in the power source. The new meter from V2C is different in both ways. It does not need a data cable.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How does it work?<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The system consists of three elements that work together:<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The power clamp<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is installed after the customer&#8217;s main meter. Through <strong>electromagnetic induction<\/strong>, it directly obtains the energy needed to power the meter from the current of the installation itself.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The meter with LoRa technology<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It communicates directly with the V2C charger using <strong>LoRa technology<\/strong> \u2014 a <strong>long-range wireless communication<\/strong> specially designed for environments where the WiFi signal does not reach or is unreliable. No need to go through the customer&#8217;s router, no passwords, no connection drops.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The ammeter clamps<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>They measure the total consumption of the installation<\/strong> and send the data to the meter for precise and real-time dynamic power control. Optionally, a second clamp allows for measuring the <strong>photovoltaic production<\/strong>, making the system compatible with solar installations without the need for additional hardware.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Availability<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new 100% wireless energy meter from V2C will be available for marketing in <strong>Q4 of 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You will be able to see it in operation for the first time at <strong>Power2Drive 2026<\/strong>, from June 23 to 25 in Munich, at our <strong>Stand B6.109<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Follow the path to Power2Drive 2026<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This launch is part of our campaign <strong>Road to Power2Drive<\/strong>, where we will be unveiling all the news we will present at the fair week by week.
