Infinite Impedance from Alva
The e-Charger Alva, in its version with included protections, features infinite impedance (or zero impedance), a technology developed by V2C that allows the meter not to detect the charging point. Therefore, in the event of a power outage, the installation can be reset simply by turning the main circuit breaker of the house off and on.
Infinite impedance operates under the following conditions:
- The meter must be from Iberdrola, Landis Gyr, ZiV, or Gridspertise.
- The charger must include the protection block provided by the manufacturer, specifically from the brands CHINT or TOSCANO.
- There should be no internal modifications made to the charger, such as the installation of an additional power outlet, Schuko socket, or any other type of outlet.
- The power line of the charger must not have any branches or splices.
- The component ‘COMP1‘ connects to the P2 connector as shown in the image.
- The number 1 of the component ‘COMP1‘ must match with the number 1 of the P2 connector.
- The component ‘POV-1‘ must be connected as shown in the image, that is, the phase (F) must be connected to connection 1 and the neutral (N) must be connected to connection 2.
