The Councillor of Territorial Policy, Public Works and Mobility, Rebeca Torró, has visited the facilities of the V2C company, specialized in the design and manufacture of chargers for electric vehicles. During her visit, Torró highlighted the important role of the company in contributing to the economic and social development of the Valencian Community, and explored the different ways in which the regional government can support the company in its growth and expansion.
V2C has extensive experience in the manufacture of innovative and efficient chargers, which has allowed it to export its products to more than 15 countries around the world. The company has become a benchmark in the sector thanks to its commitment to the development of intelligent solutions, promoting the creation of quality employment and boosting the Valencian economy.
The councillor, accompanied by the regional secretary for Public Works, Transport and Sustainable Mobility, María Pérez, has had the opportunity to learn first-hand about the company’s production processes, as well as to talk with the company’s managers about their future plans and the importance of collaboration between the public and private sectors to promote the development of electric mobility in the region.
PROMOTION OF ELECTRIC MOBILITY IN THE VALENCIAN COMMUNITY
The councillor, part of the hard core of the negotiation with Volkswagen for the arrival of the gigafactory in Sagunt, has highlighted the commitment of the Valencian Community with the promotion of electric mobility. “It is undeniable that currently the transformation and economic development must be based on decarbonization through innovation and the Valencian Community is placing itself at the forefront of the new sustainable mobility,” said Torró.
For their part, the heads of V2C thanked the Regional Minister for her visit and emphasized their commitment to contribute to making possible a more sustainable and environmentally friendly mobility. “We are convinced that, with the support of the regional government that promotes electric mobility, we can foster the growth of the company and develop new intelligent solutions that will allow us to lead the sector in southern Europe in a short period of time,” said Victor Sanchis, CEO of V2C.
