At the Power2Drive 2024 event, we have made a historic step by unveiling our latest innovation, Denka, our first direct current (DC) fast charger. With this launch, we aim to revolutionize the development of fast charging solutions with a compact charger for electric vehicles. Power and efficiency in fast charging
Denka is capable of providing fast charging with options of 20kW or 40kW, offering flexibility tailored to the needs of each user. This charger is equipped with a standard CCS Combo connector, widely compatible with most current electric vehicles. Denka’s 40kW power not only ensures faster and more efficient charging but also contributes to increased vehicle turnover at charging points, thus facilitating the transition to more sustainable mobility.
Denka’s fast charging capability significantly reduces the time required to charge a vehicle, which is a major advantage for drivers needing quick recharges during their journeys. Technical details of Denka
Denka also stands out for its advanced technical and safety features. This charger is equipped with a corrosion-resistant metal casing and an IP54 and IK10 protection rating, ensuring exceptional durability in a variety of environments. Additionally, it features a forced ventilation system that keeps the device in optimal operating conditions.
The Denka charger includes an interactive lighting system with state LEDs based on the vehicle’s charge percentage, facilitating monitoring and management of the charging process. It offers energy efficiency above 95%, and its DC output capacity ranges from 150 to 1000 Vdc, making it suitable for a wide range of electric vehicles. Denka also comes with a 5-meter CCS2 cable and supports mode 4 charging, ensuring fast and efficient charging.
In terms of connectivity and management, Denka leads with WiFi, Ethernet, and 4G options, enabling user management through the V2C Cloud app, local RFID systems, and Plug & Charge functionality. It supports various protocols, including V2C Cloud, Cloud Rest API, OCPP 1.6J, and Modbus TCP/RTU, and complies with ISO 15118 standards, ensuring seamless integration into advanced charging management systems.
