What’s included in the new V2C app update

The new version of V2C Cloud arrives with a complete redesign and structural improvements that enhance how you visualise and control your charging sessions. We’ve worked to make the app faster, adaptable to different languages, and capable of integrating new functionalities more easily in the future. To achieve this, we’ve completely renewed the design, refactored the base code, optimised internal queries, and modernised the entire application architecture.

In version 3.0.0, we’ve introduced major new features that improve usability and expand the app’s capabilities:

  • Redesigned charger screen with a more intuitive layout and visual customisation options
  • Improved statistics display for clearer, more accessible charge monitoring
  • Optimised splash screen for a faster app start-up
  • Launch of the new international public charger map, allowing you to charge your vehicle anywhere in the world via V2C Payments
  • Addition of new languages, including Basque, and an updated structure designed to easily integrate more languages in future versions
  • New energy tariffs, advanced settings, optimisations, and solar inverter integration for even greater control

Redesigned main screen for each charger

The 3.0.0 update introduces a fully renewed and customisable design for each charger’s main screen. You can now check your charger’s status at a glance with a clearer, more visual, and optimised interface.

You can also personalise the main image for each linked charger. Simply go to the settings menu, open the image gallery, and select your preferred picture. Once chosen, it will appear every time you access your charger’s dashboard, adding a unique, personal touch.

We’ve also revamped the visualisation of key charger settings, making them more intuitive and accessible. From the main screen, you can easily check the charging status and power or current control. Configuring functions such as scheduled charging is now just one click away, and you can instantly see how these settings apply directly in the main interface.

Launch of the new global public charger map

Version 3.0.0 also introduces one of the most anticipated features: the new international public charger map. You can now access it easily from the main menu and locate charging points anywhere in the world, with power outputs of up to 350 kW.

Simply select the “Map” option and enable location on your device, or freely explore the global map to view all available public chargers in real time.

Starting a charging session from the new map is simple:

  1. Find the nearest charger on the map and select it to view all available connectors. You can filter by connector type, charging speed, or operator to find exactly what you need.
  2. Choose an available connector and view detailed information: connector type, maximum speed, and price per kWh.
  3. Tap “Start Charging” and set up your V2C Payments system. If it’s already configured, you won’t need to repeat this step. (Important: do not plug in your vehicle until the payment method has been confirmed.)
  4. Once the payment is accepted, connect your vehicle to the charger, and that’s it! Your charging session will begin.
