2018 has come to its end and it has been a great year for a French company. Renault continues to reap the benefits of introducing electric mobility to Spain and takes the spot of the best-selling car in 2018.
Renault has experienced an increase of 25% in sales compared to 2017, reaching a market share of 30%. There are several protagonists of the Z.E range that have placed the company in this position. But, without a doubt, there is a model that stands out – The ZOE.
Renault ZOE has been the best-selling model in the category of electric cars in Spain. It surpassed the 4,000 units sold since its launch in 2014. Long range of 315 kilometers, has made it one of the electric cars with the greatest range of autonomy on the market.
A good example of ZOE’s success on the Spanish is Zity. Zity is a car-sharing service which has already exceeded 150,000 users in Spain in its first year driving throughout the Community of Madrid with a fleet of 500 electric Renault ZOE 40. The great capacity, together with the rest of its amazing specifications, made it one of the most sold all-electric vehicles to the companies.
ZOE is not the only reason for such success of Renault on the electric vehicle market. Kangoo Z.E., 100% electric commercial vehicle, with a market share of 40%, is another one.
