Infinite Impedance

The e-Charger Trydan, in its version with included protections, features infinite impedance (or zero impedance), a technology developed by V2C that ensures the meter does not detect the charging point. Therefore, in the event of a power outage, the installation can be reset simply by switching the main circuit breaker of the house off and on.

Infinite impedance works under the following conditions:

  • The meter must be included in the list of meters compatible with our infinite impedance.
  • The charger must be single-phase and equipped with the protection block provided by the factory, specifically from the brands CHINT or TOSCANO.
  • No internal modifications should be made to the charger, such as installing an additional outlet, Schuko socket, or other types of outlets.
  • The charger’s power line must not have any derivation or splice.
  • The component ‘COMP1’ is connected to the P2 connector as shown in the image.
  • The number 1 on the ‘COMP1’ component must match the number 1 on the P2 connector.
  • The component ‘POV-1’ must be connected as shown in the image; that is, the phase (F) must be connected to connection 1, and the neutral (N) must be connected to connection 2.
