V2C launches Nexo: a single payment terminal for your whole installation

Meet Nexo, V2C’s new payment terminal: a single device that you install once and that connects to all the V2C chargers in your installation, whatever their model. Forget fitting a card reader to every charging point: with Nexo, one is all you need.

For your customers, it couldn’t be simpler: they tap the screen on the terminal, choose the charger their vehicle is plugged into and pay by card, contactless or phone. Charging starts instantly, with no apps to download and no readers to hunt for on each charger.

One terminal, any charger

Unlike a POS built into a specific charger, Nexo is compatible with every V2C charger model at once: it works side by side in the same installation with Trydan, Trydan Pro, Alva, Denka, Pole Pro and future models. It doesn’t matter how many chargers you have today or how many you add later: they all keep taking payments through the same terminal, with no need to buy a new reader for each point.

That means fewer terminals to maintain and a lower cost per charging point the bigger the installation gets.

The engine behind it: V2C Payments

Nexo runs on V2C Payments, the software that manages every transaction: it receives your customer’s payment and transfers it to you automatically, whether you have one charger or a hundred. It includes:

  • 95% for you. 95% of the amount of every charge goes straight to your bank account.
  • Real-time dashboard. Transactions from every point, in a single dashboard.
  • Automatic invoicing. Everything is handled automatically, with no manual intervention.
  • Per-charger rates. Each point with its own price, all from the same dashboard.

Enabling payments on a new charger takes two steps: register it and set a rate. No bank paperwork or third-party apps, everything is preconfigured for a quick start-up.

Who is Nexo for?

Nexo makes sense for any installation with several chargers: companies with their own car park, shopping centres, hotels or fleet managers who want a single payment point and a single control panel for all their charging points, instead of managing a separate reader on each one.

Two ways to install it

It’s the same device in two mounting formats: on a post, for car parks and outdoor areas, or wall-mounted, for garages and covered spaces.

You can see how it works with an interactive demo, explore the terminal in 3D and compare Nexo with the integrated POS on the product page.
