The subsidies for purchasing an electric car and charging point come into effect on December 14. What is the budget for the subsidies to buy an electric car? The budget for purchasing an electric car is two million euros, with subsidy amounts of up to 5,500 euros for the vehicle and 1,000 euros for the charging point.

These subsidies will come into effect once published in the BOCAM (Official Bulletin of the Community of Madrid). Funded by the Ministry of Economy, the plan is allocated two million euros, and it will be aimed at battery electric vehicles (BEV), plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEV), extended-range electric vehicles (EREV), hydrogen vehicles (FCEV), LPG, and CNG. The guidelines for applying for the subsidies for purchasing electric cars will be made public imminently.
