V2C launches new charging point: Dark

V2C will present Dark Wallbox at Matelec (International Fair of Solutions for the Electrical and Electronic Industry). The new charging point for electric vehicles comes to update its predecessors with a new design featuring more refined finishes and new dimensions that make it more appealing to users.

Dark Wallbox is a semi-fast electric vehicle charger of up to 22kW. An ideal solution for charging electric vehicles in private garages (single-family homes and community parking spaces) and also in businesses.

Depending on the product model, it can perform either three-phase or single-phase charging, both framed within mode 3 IEC 61851. The unit features an AC charger with a selectable output socket: Type 1 (SAE J1772) or Type 2 (IEC 62196, “Mennekes”). The Socket model comes with a Type 2 plug. The unit includes a hose with 5 meters of cable. It allows for real-time control of the charging speed through a front display that enables modification of the intensity (from 6 amperes to 20/32A depending on the model) of each charge before and during the process.

This will not be the only novelty that V2C will unveil at Matelec.
