This Saturday in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento of València, 40 startups will gather to be part of Valencia Startup Market, a meeting to share the innovation and technology being developed in València. V2C, a Spanish brand that manufactures and designs charging points for electric vehicles, will be present at this event.

The councilor for Sustainable Economic Development, Sandra Gómez, along with the deputy director of VIT Emprende at València Activa, Javier Mateo, explained that this is “an initiative aimed at showcasing a València without limits in entrepreneurship or progress, supporting new business initiatives within a great ecosystem that is developing in our city.”

This event organized by València Activa and VIT Emprende will take place from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and, in addition to the presence of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, other activities will be held such as talks, product demonstrations, and activities for children. According to the councilor, “we will make visible and promote all those innovative initiatives being developed in the city of València that we want to bring closer to the public.” This will create a meeting point for startups and citizens to showcase and explain what the technology companies in the city are doing.

BRINGING STARTUPS CLOSER TO CITIZENS WITH THE ‘VALÈNCIA STARTUP MARKET’

With the aim of turning innovation and technology into the new economic model of the city, València Activa and VIT Emprende are organizing the next Saturday, October 27, the ‘Valencia Startup Market’, which will bring startups, technology, and innovation to the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.

“We want the plaza to be a Saturday for startups from VIT Emprende. To bring products that can be explained and show the citizens what the technology companies in the city do,” explains Javier Mateo, deputy director of Entrepreneurship at València Activa.
