One of the concerns that may arise for someone thinking about acquiring a charging point is whether someone could use it in their absence without their consent. Who hasn’t asked themselves… Will someone else use my charging point when I’m not there? Will my neighbor be able to use my charger without me knowing? In this article, we want to explain all the options we offer in our charging solutions for community garages, in order to ensure that the charger owner is the only one who enjoys it.

Remote activation and deactivation control of the charging point

This is one of the latest innovations we have incorporated into the charging points. The option to add a remote control that allows for remote control to activate and deactivate the charging point in a very comfortable and simple way.

Key lock on the charger

The second option we propose to all users who want to ensure that their charging point is not used by anyone else is the key lock. This is a more traditional method than the previous one and consists of activation and deactivation through a key contact.

We incorporate the lock on the side of the charger, so that it will only activate when the owner unlocks it with the key. Here you can see an example of a lock incorporated in the UP model.

Interrupting the supply through the protection box

In the installations of our charging points, they are accompanied by a protection box that is responsible for ensuring security and the proper functioning of the electrical network. Inside this box is the circuit breaker, the superimmunized differential, and the protector against permanent and transient overvoltages.

Thus, the third option would be to remove access to the charging point by interrupting the electrical supply by disconnecting it from the protection box that has a lockable closure.
