V2C launches new charging point: Dark

V2C will present Dark at Matelec (International Fair of Solutions for the Electrical and Electronic Industry). The new charging point for electric vehicles comes to update its predecessors with a new design featuring more refined finishes and new dimensions that make it more attractive to users.

Dark  is a semi-fast electric vehicle charger of up to 22kW. An ideal solution for charging electric vehicles in private garages (single-family homes and community parking spaces) and also in businesses. The charging point offers the possibility of connecting to the V2C Cloud platform for online management of the equipment, remotely via the cloud.

Depending on the product model, either three-phase or single-phase charging can be performed, both framed within mode 3 IEC 61851. The equipment features an AC charger with a selectable output socket: Type 1 (SAE J1772) or Type 2 (IEC 62196, “Mennekes”). The Socket model comes with a Type 2 plug. The equipment includes a hose with 5 meters of cable. It allows for controlling the charging speed at all times through a front display that enables modification of the intensity (from 6 amperes to 20/32A depending on the model) of each charge before and during the process.

This will not be the only novelty that V2C will unveil at Matelec. The UP Wallbox charging points and the portable EV Portable feature a new and innovative design improved based on customer feedback and needs.
